Lockton today announced the appointment of Nick Evancho as a vice president and senior account executive for complex risk within Lockton’s Aviation Practice in the Southeast region, adding to the company’s industry-leading aviation and aerospace insurance broking team.
Based in Atlanta, Evancho brings to Lockton more than 15 years of aviation and aerospace underwriting experience. Including writing fixed and rotor wing commercial operations as well as defense industry risks. His appointment follows Lockton’s addition of aviation insurance industry veterans Carl Shephard and Chris Latta in London and Atlanta, respectively, earlier this month.
Evancho began his career in 2006 at AIG and has since held a number of aviation leadership roles at the insurer, most recently as product line manager for complex risk. He is also a licensed pilot.
“Lockton’s focus has always been on delivering superior value to our clients, which we can only achieve by investing in top talent,” said Dean Anderson, Aviation Practice Leader for Lockton’s Southeast region. “Adding Nick Evancho to our already deep bench of aviation insurance specialists enables us to continue to provide our clients with the best insight into their critical risks and proven solutions to help manage them.”
