Lockton Strengthens Industry Specialization with Appointment of Paul Primavera as U.S. Construction Practice Leader

Lockton, the world’s largest privately held independent insurance brokerage, has named Paul Primavera as its U.S. Construction Practice Leader. This strategic move underscores Lockton’s ongoing commitment to industry specialization — delivering tailored, innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of its clients.

In this role, Primavera will build upon Lockton’s deep bench of construction expertise to drive growth, enhance client engagement, and develop and optimize resources across the U.S. to create value for clients He will oversee Lockton’s construction national strategy, reinforcing commitment to delivering excellence and innovation across the U.S.

“Rising litigation costs, labor shortages, and price fluctuations in building materials — driven in part by tariffs — are creating significant economic and operational challenges for the construction industry,” said Chris DiLullo, Lockton’s U.S. Industry Practices Leader. “Paul brings a wealth of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and deep industry knowledge to this role. He has been, and will continue to be, a tremendous asset to Lockton and our clients during this critical time.”

Primavera has spent more than 16 years with Lockton and brings decades of construction industry experience to the role. Most recently, he served as Lockton’s National Risk Control Services Practice Leader, where he consulted with clients to develop unique solutions to claim- and exposure-related issues. He is a frequent speaker and thought leader in several areas, including construction, claims, and loss control.

Primavera is based in Los Angeles and will report to Chris DiLullo.
