Lockton Appoints Eric Braverman U.S. Law Firms Practice Leader

Lockton, the world's largest privately held insurance brokerage, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Braverman to the newly created position of U.S. Law Firms Practice Leader. This appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to continuously deepening its law firm expertise in order to best serve clients’ industry-specific needs.

Braverman, who joined Lockton in 2024, most recently was Senior Vice President, Professional Services Practice Leader for the firm’s Midwest region. In his new role, he will advance the firm’s service to clients in the legal industry across the U.S. by driving strategy across the enterprise, enhancing client service, making targeted investments to support growth, and expanding Lockton’s presence within the industry.

Braverman has more than 30 years of experience serving professional services firms, including 20 years working as a Managing Director at Aon. He has a proven track record of leadership and skill in all aspects of securing professional liability, employment practices liability, management liability, and cyber insurance for large law firms.

Braverman, a licensed attorney, holds a law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law. He is based in Chicago.
