With a cooling labor market and broad economic factors including rising healthcare costs, employers are increasingly prioritizing reducing costs as a factor in making benefit decisions. Yet even as reducing costs is virtually on par with attracting and retaining talent as a priority, the survey shows that strategies employers are deploying tend to be more conservative.
