Tom Curran has been appointed to the position of Head of Wellbeing at Lockton People Solutions, Ireland. Tom joins the global advisory and insurance brokers following his time as Senior Manager in Health & Social Care Consulting with Deloitte, Ireland.
In his new role with Lockton, Tom will lead the wellbeing business, a key offering to Lockton clients. He will liaise primarily with corporate clients who endeavour to develop robust employee benefits programmes to meet the evolving wellbeing needs of their employees. Tom will design bespoke benefits packages for clients and select suitable providers for their wellbeing programmes while promoting engagement of staff in these plans.
Tom is a highly experienced healthcare and financial expert, uniquely qualified both as a chartered accountant and chartered physiotherapist, which gives him a certified and authentic view in dealing with the health and wellbeing needs of employers and their employees.
Previously, Tom held the pivotal role of Health and Social Care Senior Manager with Deloitte, Ireland as part of their consulting offering. Prior to this, Tom was responsible for income protection claims management and MedTech development with Medfit Proactive Healthcare in addition to being a chartered physiotherapist and developing nationwide integrated care pathways for service users.
His other experiences include working as an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team Leader with the NHS and providing healthcare consultancy services to the McLaren Racing Formula-1 team.
