Who needs recruitment insurance?

If you run or are setting up a recruitment business, you need insurance. Employers’ Liability is a legal requirement, and other covers such as Professional Indemnity and Public Liability are strongly recommended and often required by clients.

At a minimum: Employers’ Liability, Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. However, most agencies also need Vicarious Liability, Driver’s Negligence and Cyber cover.

It protects your agency if a client alleges a mistake in your services, such as placing an unsuitable candidate, breach of confidentiality or contract errors.

Yes, if you have clients, candidates or staff visiting your premises, or your team visits client sites. It covers claims for injury or property damage.

Vicarious Liability applies when you supply temporary staff, covering you for their actions while under your supervision. Non-vicarious cover applies to permanent placements or introductions.

Directors’ and Officers’ Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Cyber Insurance and Legal Expenses cover are all recommended depending on your operations and contracts.
