For more than 55 years, Lockton have been committed to give back to charities and communities around the globe.

Back in May, Lockton’s UK senior leadership team set out to raise funds for both the Lockton charity of the year, Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity (opens a new window), which brightens the lives of seriously ill children and their families - as well as for selected charities addressing the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

Taking to the River Thames, the leadership team were involved in a two-day charity event where they rowed over 45km - we are delighted to announce that we have raised a staggering £98,258 for these amazing charities.

This will result in total in:

• £54,129 going to Rays of Sunshine and £44,129 going to Ukraine Relief.

This £44,129 fundraise for the Ukraine Relief, supplements Lockton Companies $150,000 global donation to Ukraine support from March this year. (opens a new window)

We’d like to thank Olympic gold medallist, Sir Matthew Pinsent for his kind words of encouragement, which was certainly needed for the last push over the line!
