On Sunday, 2nd November 2025, Lockton Performance will celebrate three years as the Official Insurance Partner to the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run when the event starts at sunrise near Hyde Park in London.
The event is hosted by The Royal Automobile Club and is the world’s longest running motoring event, celebrating early pioneering automobiles. The 2025 Car Run commemorates the first 1896 Emancipation Run, which marked a parliamentary act granting motorists the freedom of the open road and creating a base from which a UK motor industry could be established.
Lockton Performance provides cover for classic cars and supercar collections. The team's multi-year partnership with this event reflects our genuine long-term passion for the motoring industry and for collectors' cars, both classic and new.
Lockton will be hosting the Participants’ Reception on the 1st of November, on the eve of the Run. This will take place in the Club’s clubhouse on Pall Mall in central London. A special Lockton Achievement Award will also be presented during the reception to a worthy entrant of significant note.
