A travel bond is a recognised form of security and can be provided by a surety issued in favour of the relevant regulator. Examples of Travel bonds include, but not limited to, ABTA (and ABTOT) bonds, ATOL (Air Travel Organisers License) and CAR (Commission for Aviation Regulation).
