Simon heads up Lockton Performance, which is part of Lockton Private Clients. With over 30 years experience in the specialist car world, Simon specialises in global personal insurance programmes where a large car collection is involved. Simon manages our relationships with our car club partners and also has responsibility for the overall management of the Lockton exclusive motor insurance facility. “When I started my first job in car insurance over 30 years ago never did I imagine that I would work alongside so many wonderful people, for so many fascinating clients or with so many amazing clubs and classic marques. As for my favourite – a Ferrari 288 GTO!”

Garry joined Lockton in November 2025 – Garry has over 30 years experience working in the classic car and bike insurance sector – Garry has worked with many of the UKS leading car and bike clubs helping to deliver bespoke solutions tailored to the individual needs of clubs and their members Garry has a particular passion for supporting the movement in terms of its long term sustainability and adapting to the challenges of an everchanging world

John joined Lockton to assist with the expansion into Specialist Motor Trade and Collector Car insurance. John’s career in insurance spans over 43 years as both a broker and an underwriter at Lloyd’s, where he became one of the youngest underwriters to have his own non-marine syndicate. In 2004, he led a management buyout of a Lloyd’s service company, which then became Vantage Insurance Services Ltd, and he became its CEO. In 2011, Vantage established a subsidiary company, Classic Insurance Services Ltd, specialising in Classic Motor Trade and collectors of classic and specialist cars.

Matthew Haynes is our specialist private motor collection consultant. He has vast experience and depth of knowledge in the provision of bespoke solutions for clients with larger collections of cars. Matthew has been with Lockton since 2012. He is a keen Formula One fan with extensive knowledge of all things automotive, including both insurance and specialist motor market conditions. “I’ve been asked several times what would my dream garage look like - almost impossible to narrow it down to a handful of cars but if really pushed then a McLaren F1 GTR and a Moonstone Blue Sierra Cosworth RS500”

Marcus is a Senior Sales Executive specialising in high net worth motor placements. He has been in the specialist motor market for over a decade and with Lockton for seven years. A lifelong car enthusiast, Marcus is a qualified national level rally driver and can be found regularly attending events as both driver and enthusiast. “If I had to list just a couple of cars that would be in my dream garage then I’d go for a 997 GT3RS 4.0 for the road & a ‘Group A’ E30 M3 for the rally stages”

Lucie leads the Lockton Performance team, ensuring that our clients receive an excellent standard of service, every time. She also manages some of our larger collector accounts. Lucie joined us in 2012, having previously worked for another specialist car insurance broker. “If I had to list just a couple of cars that would be in my dream garage then I’d go for an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and a McLaren 720s Spider

Growing up surrounded by classic cars, it was a natural progression for Jonny to pursue a career in the automotive industry. Since 2010 he has been heavily involved in the collector car domain, developing industry-leading expertise in classic vehicles and their unique intricacies. He has had the privilege of handling the sale, acquisition, management and even restorations of numerous iconic, high-value, and rare motor vehicles. he has also raced a variety of historic cars both on the track and in rallying. At Lockton Performance, Jonny can combine his formidable network of connections with the development of relationships for clients new and old, delivering the best possible service to enable then to enjoy their vehicles to the fullest. Jonny's career has seen him aligning with like-minded car enthusiasts and professionals and his expertise in the world of the classic car makes him a great addition to the Lockton team.

Simon leads several key business relationships for Lockton Performance and supports clients in protecting what they love. He started motorsport marshalling at just 14, a road trip that’s has taken him to circuits like Le Mans, Talladega, and Abu Dhabi. He’s an experienced Post Chief and Flag Marshal keeping those drivers in check! After a long career in luxury retail leadership, Simon turned passion into profession. He developed the UK’s first needs-based digital tyre selector while managing tyres for a national automotive group. Before that, he led Porsche Club Great Britain as Club Executive Manager, gaining a deep understanding of car club life and member needs. “If passion could be parked in a garage, mine would hold a ’67 Shelby GT500, 930 Turbo Targa, Ferrari F40, Any Dale Earnhardt #3 Chevvy and an Aston Martin Vulcan”

Andy has over 30 years’ experience in advising businesses and private individuals within the classic & specialist car sector. He is particularly skilled in understanding the needs of the sector and delivering insurance solutions that are effective and competitive. Andy also supports the team by working in particular on larger collections, event attendance and produces much of the content you will see in our newsletters and website. “A self-confessed, unashamed petrolhead – and proud of it! That’s how I would best describe myself. Vintage, supercars, hypercars, next generation electric vehicles, anything to do with F1 and the odd classic French hot hatch”.

Phil is a Specialist Vehicle Consultant & Show Manager and has been a key public-facing figure over the last 20 years at various classic vehicle shows and club events across the UK.  He promotes tailored club insurance schemes and within his role as Assistant Vice President at Lockton is often found out and about running the stand at classic car and motorcycle shows.  Over the last 10 years he has also been a valued contributor of schemes to encourage the next generation of classic vehicle enthusiasts.

Jamie joined Lockton in August 2025 to assist with the expansion into Specialist Motor Trade and Collector Car insurance. Jamie’s career in insurance spans over 47 years starting in the Corporation of Lloyd’s. Since 1992 Jamie has established both broking and insurance entities. In 2004, together with John Collyear. he led a management buyout of a Lloyd’s service company, which then became Vantage Insurance Services Ltd. In 2011, Vantage established a subsidiary company, Classic Insurance Services Ltd, specialising in Classic Motor Trade and collectors of classic and specialist cars. In 2016 the business was acquired by NSM and Jamie remained as Managing Director. In 2017 they acquired Peter James Insurance, a specialist classic car and bike broker.

Tammy joined Lockton in August 2025 to assist with the expansion of Specialist Motor Trade and Collector Car insurance as Product Lead Specialist Motor Trade. Tammy’s career in insurance spans over 25 years with 23 years specialising in Specialist Motor Trade and Large Collections, working for the likes of Aon, Aston Scott, and Classic Insurance Services. Starting as a Client Manager, later leading the team as Head of Private Clients and Specialist Motor Trade.

Roger Clark has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Focusing on new business and quotations, he specialises in arranging bespoke insurance solutions for specialist motor traders and private collectors. His extensive knowledge of the sector enables him to provide tailored cover for a diverse range of risks, including prestige and classic motor dealers, restoration businesses, vehicle detailers and vehicle storage specialists.
