Amit comes with a wealth of experience, having been the CFO at Aon, where he was instrumental in driving remarkable business growth. His leadership in strategic initiatives, expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and success in attracting foreign direct investment are well-recognized. His strategic planning has also been pivotal in creating both domestic and international growth opportunities.
Amit has a distinguished track record of building high-performing teams across various sectors. His career includes roles with prestigious groups such as Tata, KPMG, ZEE, Jana Bank, and Indiabulls. He has overseen audits for prominent financial institutions like ICICI, Citi, and Standard Chartered, and was key in Indiabulls' venture into insurance sector. His contributions have garnered him numerous national and international accolades, including the Global Inspirational Leader 2023, multiple CFO of the Year awards, Innovative CFO In Business Partnerships, and Financial Express Influencer of the Year.
In addition to his professional achievements, Amit is academically distinguished as a Chartered Accountant, an IIM-Bangalore Management Graduate, and a CFA Charter holder from The CFA Institute, USA. He is also an avid chess player at the state level and a badminton enthusiast. He represented IIM-B in the Global Investment Banking Olympiad finals and the 'Olympus' leadership competition among top IIMs and IITs. Amit is actively involved in community service through initiatives like "PRAYAAS," reflecting his dedication to social contribution. On a personal note, Amit is married to his IIM-B colleague.
