We are thrilled to announce that Jaideep (Jay) Sharma has been appointed as the Regional Head of Specialties for Lockton Asia. In this newly created role, Jay, a seasoned industry leader with a stellar track record spanning more than 33 years, will relocate to Singapore from New York and report directly to Asia CEO Tony Hardy.
Jay brings unparalleled expertise in leading complex, multinational operations across the globe. His career began at Marsh Aviation, where he managed large-scale aviation clients in both the U.S. and London markets. Over the years, Jay has held several senior leadership roles, including CEO of Marsh’s operations in Saudi Arabia, where he drove remarkable growth, doubling revenues and raising margins. Under his leadership, Marsh became the number one broker in Saudi Arabia, a position it held for the first time in 40 years.
At Aon, Jay served as Market Leader for Connecticut, overseeing a 250-person operation across Risk, Health, Wealth, and Human Capital. He championed diversity in leadership, fostered employee engagement, and led the office to win “Office of the Year” in 2018.
Most recently, at WTW, Jay held key executive roles, including Head of Multinational Growth for North America, where he worked across geographies to drive client-centric innovation and achieve strategic growth initiatives.
