Lockton Hong Kong is honored to receive the inaugural Social Impact Award 2025 in the non-listed company category from the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD).
As part of the HKIoD Award Series for Director Excellence 2025, the newly introduced Social Impact Award recognizes exemplary achievements and best practices in board governance that foster social sustainability.
Mr. Alex Yip, CEO of Lockton Greater China, said: “We are honored to receive the inaugural Social Impact Award from HKIoD. This recognition reflects our commitment to making the communities a better place. It is also a testament to our Corporate Social Responsibility and Recreation team, which is the key driver of volunteering and employee engagement initiatives. We will continue to create meaningful impact and turn our care into action.”
With a strong conviction that our efforts extend beyond the business, we are committed to helping people in need, promoting inclusion, and providing coaching support, and protecting the environmental. Under the guidance of the management team, the Corporate Social Responsibility and Recreation team has collaborated with various NGOs and led volunteer programs and fundraising activities since its inception in 2017.
For the past eight years, we have been working closely with the Hong Kong Network for the Promotion of Inclusive Society (HKNPIS) and the Families of SMA Foundation (FSMA). In recognition of our long-term partnerships, we were delighted to have Mr. Mok Kim-wing, Chief Executive of HKNPIS, and Dr. Mei Ling Fok, Founder and Chairman of FSMA, as our special guests at HKIoD’s annual dinner cum award ceremony on November 27.
The annual HKIoD Award Series for Director Excellence is co-organized by Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, Securities and Futures Commission, and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Nominations were invited from the public, and winners were selected by a panel of independent judges based on a stringent set of criteria.
