Lockton & CPA Australia Form Strategic Partnership

Lockton has entered into a strategic partnership with CPA Australia, one of the world’s leading professional accounting bodies. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed in Shanghai, marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration to enhance professional services and support business growth across the region.

Through this partnership, Lockton and CPA Australia will combine their respective strengths in risk management, talent solutions, and financial expertise to deliver greater value to clients, members, and the wider business community.

Driving knowledge exchange and industry dialogue

As part of the collaboration, both organizations will establish a joint platform for knowledge sharing and engagement. This will include executive roundtables, industry forums, and thematic seminars focused on key areas such as risk management, human capital, and financial strategy.

By leveraging their global networks and market insights, Lockton and CPA Australia aim to facilitate meaningful conversations around emerging challenges and opportunities, helping organizations navigate an increasingly complex business environment.

Advancing talent development and professional capabilities

The partnership will also focus on professional development and talent cultivation. CPA Australia will bring its recognized expertise in accounting, finance, and governance to support training initiatives, while Lockton will contribute its global experience in people solutions and organizational resilience.

Together, the two organizations will support the development of globally minded professionals and promote advanced career pathways for finance and accounting talent—helping businesses strengthen their talent pipelines and support international expansion.

Reinforcing this commitment, Lockton in Asia has also been approved as a CPA Australia Recognised Employer Program (REP) Partner. This recognition places Lockton among CPA Australia’s global network of employers committed to high standards in professional development and support for the CPA Program.

Supporting resilience and sustainable growth

Commenting on the partnership, Rowena Buddee, Chief Member Experience Officer at CPA Australia, said: “We are pleased to partner with Lockton, whose expertise in risk management and employee benefits strongly aligns with our mission to empower our members and support business success. Through this collaboration, we look forward to connecting our members with valuable industry insights and opportunities.”
