LONDON, NOVEMBER 3rd, 2025 - Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of the world’s largest privately held independent insurance broker, has appointed Darsh Patel to lead Transaction Structuring and Reserving Analytics globally and Jack McGregor to lead Retrospective Reinsurance and Legacy Solutions for North America. Patel will be based in Lockton Re’s London office, and McGregor will be based in Lockton Re’s Chicago office and will also enhance the capabilities of Lockton Re’s growing Casualty Segment in North America.

Patel joins from Aon where he was a Legacy Actuary as part of the Aon Capital Advisory team. He brings over 20 years of experience having also spent time at Riverstone International, BDO, Tradewise Insurance Services and James, Brennan & Associates as well as other relevant organisations.
McGregor joins from Fortitude Re where he was Chief P&C Reinsurance Officer. He has also held senior roles at AIG, including CEO of its Eaglestone Re subsidiary, and began his career in the legal profession as a trial litigator and, later, as counsel to the Kemper Insurance Companies.
