Lockton Re expands facultative capabilities with appointment of Craig Wadman as North American Casualty Facultative Leader

NEW YORK, February 25th, 2022 – Bolstering its casualty facultative capabilities throughout North America, Lockton Re, the global reinsurance business of the world’s largest privately held independent insurance broker, is pleased to announce that Craig Wadman has joined in Chicago as North American Casualty Facultative Leader.

Wadman will report to Rob McNamara, Lockton Re’s North American Facultative Leader.  “We are continuing to bring in high-caliber hires, which will amplify and strengthen our facultative presence and capabilities in North America,” said McNamara. “Craig brings more than 20 years of expertise to Lockton Re, as well as an in-depth understanding of risk – and will further strengthen our relationships with both clients and reinsurers. Through our existing team and our continued build-out, we are further enhancing our casualty facultative expertise. Lockton Re is leading with analytics and technology, providing our clients with the superior products and solutions they’ve come to expect from our company.”

Wadman was most recently Regional Executive, Central Region at General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re), joining Gen Re in 2003 and holding several key roles within the company. Craig has extensive management and underwriting experience, with a proven track record of building a performance culture.
